To arrive and to find this gem of a place in Donegal, it felt like home from home.

It was the ideal backdrop to celebrate a 50th birthday in the company of our closest friends - everyone agreed that this house has a wonderful atmosphere and was obviously created with great care and attention to every detail. Thanks for sharing it with us. To Bart and his wife and to Arlene, we want to say a sincere thanks for all your assistance that went way beyond the call of duty.

Gatsby House is beautiful. As soon as we walked in the door, we all knew it was going to be amazing. Ardara is a lovely place, the shops and restaurants are wonderful. We all had a lovely time and we hope to be back soon.

Ardara is a beautiful little town and Gatsby House has been a haven of comfort, tranquillity and loveliness, with a wonderfully warm and generous welcome from Bart and Rose.

What a wonderful, wonderful place, luxurious, comfortable and warm! And what can we say about Bart and Rosemarie Whelan who were so welcoming and obliging? We can't thank them enough for their kindness and attention to detail - we'll be back.

What a lovely, charming, beautiful, divine, comfortable, exotic home. We had to be dragged out to see Donegal and if our two teenagers (14 and 18) were very happy I rest my case !! PS Bart was a gem, I nearly didn't get his wife's divine amazing sponge!! A million thanks.
